We took the whole first floor of a house in Westcliff, and two of the rooms in it were bathrooms. The guest bath came back with every surface and fixture new: butterfly wallpaper over a wainscot in Sherwin-Williams Iron Ore, a Kohler pedestal sink, a brass faucet, and an antiqued gold arched mirror. The pool bath did not exist until we built it.
What We See in Westcliff Houses
Westcliff is a postwar neighborhood: 781 of its houses were finished in the 1940s and 263 in the 1950s, the middle one dates to 1948, and 71 have gone up since 2010. The lots are wide for Fort Worth, around 78 feet, and the middle house runs 1,852 square feet. Space is not usually what is missing here. Somewhere to put a second bathroom inside a 1948 plan is, which is the problem our own Westcliff job solved twice.

Hall and kids baths are most of what we are asked about here. Primary baths are usually an addition to the plan rather than a rework of it. Small bathroom remodels cover the half baths and pool baths that arrive once the plan finally opens up, which is the job our Westcliff project turned out to be.
