DFW Bathrooms is the bathroom side of 6th Avenue Homes, a Fort Worth design-build company that has been drawing, building, and listing homes here since 2016.
6th Avenue Homes is real estate, interior design, in-house drafting, construction, and pool and outdoor, all under one roof. The real estate Guides don't build and the construction crew doesn't sell houses, but they work out of the same office on the same calendar.
For a bathroom remodel, that means one team from the first visit to the last punch-list item. The designer who picks your tile and the crew who sets it work for the same company on the same budget. The drafting team draws the whole plan before construction starts. And because we also list homes, we can tell you honestly when the answer isn't a remodel at all.
We bill cost-plus. Materials, labor, and subcontractors at cost, plus one markup we name up front. You see what we paid, and you get a real number before demolition starts.
Bath work puts our crew in your house every day, so we stay close: our area is roughly 25 minutes from downtown Fort Worth.

Jimmy Williams
Co-Founder
Grew up around construction, laying bricks as a teenager and helping his father build from the ground up, and was a Fort Worth police detective before co-founding 6th Avenue Homes.
Jamey Ice
Co-Founder
Fort Worth native. Toured with the country-rock band Green River Ordinance before co-founding 6th Avenue Homes, and co-developed The 4Eleven, a warehouse on South Main.
Lauren Bernhard Staats
Construction Director
Fort Worth native with a background in historic remodels. Lauren manages every construction project from permit to final walkthrough, and knows the subcontractors and the city inspectors by name.
Kayla East
Principal Designer
Interior Design degree and Architecture minor from Texas Tech. Kayla leads every design engagement and works directly with homeowners on the layout and the selections.
Our Story
We Started on 6th Avenue
Jamey and Jimmy started 6th Avenue Homes in 2016 on 6th Avenue in Fairmount, flipping historic homes one house at a time, with the idea that buying, designing, and building a home shouldn't require a dozen companies that have never worked together.
