How it works

How a Bathroom Remodel Works With Us

From the first visit to the final walkthrough, here's how we design and build a bathroom remodel in Fort Worth. Three steps, one team, and one number before demolition starts.

4 to 16 weeks of construction, depending on the job

Billing

How Cost-Plus Billing Works

At cost. You see the receipts.
Labor
At cost. The crew's real hours, no padding.
Subcontractors
At what they charge us. You see their invoices.
+ One transparent markup
Named up front. The only place we make money.
= A real number before demolition starts

What happens at Meet Up, the first visit?

We come to your house, walk the bathroom with you, look at what's behind the walls where we can, listen to how you use the room, and talk through your budget. No drawings yet and no sales pitch.

When do I see a number?

You get a price range in the Game Plan right after Meet Up. The number you can plan around comes during Team Up, once our drafting team draws the layout and our designer helps you choose fixtures and finishes.

What if the plumbing surprises us?

Older Fort Worth houses do that. We tell you right away, explain your options, and you decide before we spend anything more. Because we bill cost-plus, the extra work goes on the ledger at cost instead of into a padded change order.

How long is the whole thing?

4 to 8 weeks of construction for a hall bath, 8 to 10 weeks of construction for a primary, 10 to 16 weeks of construction for a full suite, plus design and ordering before construction starts.

Step one is Meet Up, the free consultation at your house.

That's where the estimate starts.
