Bathroom remodel cost ranges in Fort Worth

Hall or guest bath, typically 35 to 60 square feet: $20,000–$55,000. For a hall or guest bath, that range covers a meaningful full renovation: floor tile, vanity, countertop, toilet, a shower or tub-shower with new tile, lighting, a ventilation fan, hardware, and paint. A small room costs more per square foot than a big one: it needs the same rough-in, waterproofing, glass, and six trades, spread over a third of the floor.

Primary bath, about 100 square feet at the low end, closer to 190 at the top: $63,000–$120,000. The low end keeps every fixture where it is and replaces what you see. The high end moves plumbing, opens the bath to the closet, builds a curbless shower, sets a freestanding tub, and adds a custom double vanity.

Full primary suite, bath plus closet, sometimes adjacent bedroom adjustments: $75,000–$200,000+. A full primary suite is the bath, the closet, and sometimes the bedroom wall between them. The number tracks how much of the footprint moves and how far the finish level goes.

What drives the cost of a bathroom remodel

Plumbing. Moving plumbing on a slab is meaningful work: usually $3,000 to $10,000 per fixture moved, depending on access and pipe routing. Keep the fixtures where they are and that line item goes away. That's why a refresh and a full re-plan of the same room land at opposite ends of one range.

Finish level. Tile, plumbing fixtures, and hardware are where the cost climbs fastest. A porcelain floor and a stock vanity are one project. Handmade tile, unlacquered brass, and a stone-topped custom vanity are another.

The extras. A heated floor gets planned into the electrical layout. A freestanding tub brings its own supply, its own filler, and the floor space to stand around it. A custom double vanity is built for your wall instead of ordered to the nearest stock width. Each one moves the number.

Where the house is. Our construction area is roughly 25 minutes from downtown Fort Worth, because bath work puts our crew in your house every day. Outside that area we take larger projects, mostly primary suites. For a smaller bath out there, we draw the layout and make the selections with you, then hand the plan to a builder who can be there.

That's a ballpark from what we've already published, not a quote. Finish level and scope swing these numbers a lot. The real way to know: schedule a free consultation. We walk the room, then Team Up puts a drawn layout and a real number in front of you.

How cost-plus billing works

We bill cost-plus. Materials are billed at what we paid for them. Labor and subcontractors are billed at what they cost. On top of that sits one markup, named in writing before anything starts, and that markup is all we make on the job. You see the tile invoice, the plumber's invoice, and the glass invoice as they come in.

Before we break ground you get a number you can plan around, built from a drawn layout and selections you have already made. If a cast iron drain turns out to be cracked behind the wall, you see that cost too, at what it costs, with the same markup. There's no padding in the estimate.

Why a Fort Worth bathroom costs what it does

A bathroom is nearly all trade labor packed into a small room. A plumber, an electrician, a tile setter, a glass installer, a carpenter, and a painter each take a turn. Their time is most of the number.

The slab matters too. A house on a crawlspace lets a plumber work from below. A house on a slab means saw-cut concrete for any drain that moves. Older neighborhoods add cast iron and galvanized pipe that's due for replacement whether you remodel or not. Those are Fort Worth conditions, and we look for them before construction.

How to use the calculator

Our calculator asks five questions: which bathroom, what kind of job, which city, what finish level, and which extras. Then it shows you a result. The result is the published range for your room, its published timeline, and what moves the number for your answers. It won't give you a price. The real number comes from a walkthrough of your room.

What does cost-plus mean for me?

You pay what materials, labor, and subcontractors cost, plus one markup we name before the job starts. You see every invoice. If something changes in the wall, you see that cost too, at cost, with the same markup.
