The Project
The call came when an aging Jacuzzi tub upstairs started dripping through the ceiling into the kitchen. These were past clients; we had helped furnish and style their living spaces, so when the primary bath had to be opened up, they asked our design team to rethink it rather than patch it.
Our design worked inside the existing floor plan and made targeted changes to it. The biggest is a wet room: a modern freestanding tub sits inside a generous shower zone behind frameless glass held with brass clips. Vertical stacked green subway tile runs the shower walls, marble deco tile covers the pan, and the fixtures mix brushed brass with polished nickel, including a vintage-style shower set with porcelain hot and cold markers and exposed waterline plumbing that's meant to be seen. The plan traded the old double vanity for a single, custom-fit semi-shaker piece with more counter than before, because that's how these homeowners use the room.
This was a design-only job for us, under our Design Classic package: layout revisions, mood boards, finish selection and scheduling, and simple color renderings.
